Reduce overwhelm, gain focus, and feel more in control of your life

ABOUT ME

I'm Michael, an accredited ADHD coach based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. I work with adults across the UK, helping them better understand their ADHD and develop practical strategies that make everyday life feel less overwhelming.

Before becoming a coach, I spent over a decade working in education as a qualified teacher. During that time I supported hundreds of young people, but I was also struggling with challenges that I couldn't quite explain in my own life. I often felt overwhelmed, burnt out, and frustrated that everyday tasks seemed to require far more effort than they should.

Everything started to make sense when I heard an interview about ADHD on the radio. The more I listened, the more I recognised myself. I later received my own diagnosis, but like many people, I was given very little support afterwards. I left with a leaflet and was expected to work everything else out for myself.

That experience led me to ADHD coaching.

Working with an ADHD coach gave me something I hadn't found anywhere else: practical support from someone who genuinely understood how my brain worked. Rather than being told to "just focus", I learned strategies that suited me, helping me feel more in control and able to enjoy life again. Instead of leaving teaching, I found myself enjoying it once more, earning two promotions, taking up new hobbies, travelling more, and building the confidence to make positive changes in my life.

It was during that time that I realised I wanted to do the same for other people.

Today, I combine my own lived experience of ADHD with my background as a qualified teacher and my professional coaching training to help adults build confidence, strengthen executive functioning skills, and manage the everyday challenges that ADHD can bring. Every person is different, so I don't believe in one-size-fits-all advice. Together, we'll find practical strategies that work for you and your life.

Alongside one-to-one coaching, I regularly deliver ADHD awareness talks for businesses, schools, charities, and community groups. I also run free online and in-person support groups because I believe that everyone deserves access to good quality ADHD information and support, whether they're ready for coaching or not.
