Understanding you starts right here

The right support can make a lasting difference on your ADHD journey. The coaching services below can help you or someone you know with personalised strategies and practical guidance to build confidence and improve focus.

Adult ADHD Coaching

If you are an adult with ADHD, or you suspect you might have ADHD, you may already know what it is as a condition.

You might have read the books, followed the accounts, tried the tools and understood yourself better than you ever have before. And yet, day to day life may still feel harder than it should.

Many of the adults I work with are outwardly coping. They work, parent, run households, meet deadlines and keep things moving. But internally, they are secretly exhausted. They describe a constant sense of pressure, overwhelm, self‑doubt and frustration. They often feel as though they are always catching up, even when they are able to stay on top of a busy day.

ADHD coaching is not about ‘fixing’ you. It’s about understanding how your brain works so that you can learn how to live and work with it, rather than constantly pushing against it.

WHO I WORK WITH
I work with adults across Ipswich, Cambridge, Norwich and surrounding areas who:

  • Feel capable but overwhelmed.

  • Are tired of trying strategies that make sense but never stick.

  • Experience decision paralysis, overthinking or emotional overload.

  • Have spent years masking, compensating or pushing themselves to cope.

  • Want practical support that feels realistic and human, not rigid or prescriptive.

Many people I work with were diagnosed later in life, while others have self-diagnosed and are still figuring things out. What they often have in common is a strong sense of self‑awareness, alongside a deep frustration that understanding their ADHD has not yet translated into change that means something to them.

HOW I WORK
I am a qualified teacher and expert ADHD coach, and my approach is calm, collaborative and realistic. Sessions are a space where you do not need to explain or justify yourself.

We work together to understand what is happening for you, what you need, and how to move forward in a way that fits in with your life. Reducing friction, increasing clarity and helping you feel more in control of your own choices.

How can ADHD coaching help you?

ADULT ADHD COACHING CAN SUPPORT YOU WITH THINGS LIKE:

  • Reducing overwhelm and mental load.
  • Breaking patterns of avoidance and burnout.
  • Making decisions without spiralling.
  • Building routines that are flexible and sustainable.
  • Developing self‑trust and self‑compassion.
  • Understanding your emotional responses and triggers.

This work is practical, but it is also relational. We look at what is getting in the way for you, rather than applying generic advice.

As part of your coaching programme, group support sessions are also available. I run a WhatsApp group for my clients where everyone can share their thoughts, feelings, tips and experiences. It’s a fantastic source of additional support from like-minded people who truly understand what you are going through. The meetings are Zoom style, but we also hold regular in-person meet-ups too in Ely and Cambridge. Meeting in person really helps to solidify the bonds we form with one another in the group.

Why invest in ADHD coaching?

Over time I have become passionate about self development, which is why I've taken a real interest in studies on how to become more productive and successful in achieving your goals. A study conducted by the American Society of Training and Development looked into the probabilities of achieving goals generally, and here are their results:

Chances of successfully achieving a goal:

  • 10% - if you simply have an idea or goal in mind.
  • 25% - if you make a conscious decision to do it.
  • 40% - if you decide when you will do it.
  • 50% - if you make a plan for how you will do it.
  • 65% - if you promise someone you will do it.
  • 95% - if you have regular appointments with someone you can be accountable to.

This last one astonished me - that is a whopping 95% chance of achieving a goal! So this is why meeting regularly with an ADHD coach can be so successful in helping you to get the important things in your life done and live your life the way you want to. Why does ADHD coaching work?

Psychology Today states that ADHD coaching offers practical, personalised support that can lead to real and lasting change. Research shows that it can improve executive function, boost self-esteem and support overall wellbeing. Many people who have received ADHD coaching also say that it helped to reduce feelings of overwhelm, brought clarity to their goals and built confidence in their abilities.

In coaching sessions, you can speak openly and freely, and this kind of reflective conversation can help make sense of scattered ideas and turn them into clear, manageable plans.

Coaching also provides structure, accountability and emotional support. It helps break tasks down into realistic steps, reduces procrastination and builds awareness of how motivation works for each individual.

Because every mind is different, coaching is tailored to the person in front of me. Over time, this approach supports the development of lasting skills in planning, focus and follow-through, making everyday life feel more manageable.

ADHD support for schools

Supporting a student with ADHD is most effective when schools, families and the student work together. My ADHD Student Success Programme for schools combines one-to-one coaching with practical guidance for teachers and parents. We can create a consistent approach that helps students build confidence, develop practical strategies and thrive both in the classroom and beyond.

The 10-week ADHD Student Success Programme combines three key elements:

  • Weekly one-to-one ADHD coaching to help students develop confidence, organisation, emotional regulation and practical learning strategies.

  • Teacher ADHD strategy talk with Q&A to give simple, evidence-informed techniques that can be implemented immediately in the classroom.

  • Parent ADHD education talk with Q&A, helping families better understand ADHD so they can continue supporting their child at home.
