It is reported that individuals with ADHD are three times more likely to gravitate towards entrepreneurship.
Why is this? Well those with ADHD typically have certain characteristics such as risk-taking, creativity, passion, drive, and the ability to see the big picture. However in my experience as a coach, I have found that many with ADHD simply cannot stand to work for someone else; these strong feelings are no doubt fuelled by rejection sensitive dysphoria, which I have talked about in a previous video and blog post.
However, the very traits that make someone with ADHD a great entrepreneur can also present challenges. Starting a business is hard work for anyone, but when you have ADHD Issues such as organisation can cause problems. This is where ADHD coaching can make a huge difference, acting as a guiding force and significantly increasing the chances of success.
By helping individuals with ADHD harness their strengths and manage their challenges, coaching can fuel progress and turn your dreams into reality. If you're an aspiring entrepreneur with ADHD looking for support in launching your business, then contact me and we can chat about how I can help.
